We are proud to be a member of the West Tennessee Continuum of Care. We work together with other organizations in our community to ensure that all those in need can find assistance when necessary. To do our part and fulfill our mission, we offer these services:

Emergency Assistance Services

As our oldest program, Emergency Assistance works with other local providers to help individuals or families in a unique and immediate financial crisis with  dental needs, prescription medicine, or rapid re-housing into stable and permanent situations.

We have recognized common educational needs that would assist our program participants in working towards sustainability. Our EEAC classes are required for receiving assistance if the needs pertain to budgeting, landlord-tenant rights, or weatherization.

Homeless & Housing Services

With no homeless shelter for men in our city, this program partners with nearly forty diverse churches who pick up our homeless guests here on campus, host them for dinner, sleep and breakfast at their churches, and brings them back the next morning.

Our daytime hospitality and case management center for men and women who are homeless serves as a check-in point for Room in the Inn, and also offers document assistance, medical vouchers, showers, laundry, lockers, and a postal address for our guests.

As part of the homeless and housing continuum of care, Turning Point is an 8-bed, low-demand safe haven for the chronically homeless (more than 12 months in the last 3 years) with a co-occurring disability, mental illness or substance abuse issue.

To address one of the prominent triggers leading to homelessness, Fresh START works to create transitional work opportunities for our homeless and housing services participants that both promote dignity by generating income, and offer hand-on job skill training.
